The Teledyne Dalsa Genie Nano-CL M4090 NIR uses the Python 16K monochrome APS-C CMOS sensor over a Camera Link interface with a resolution of 4096 × 4096 pixels (16.78 MP) at 45 frames per second.

Like all Teledyne DALSA Camera Link cameras, the Genie Nano-CL M4090 NIR is based on AIA (Automated Imaging Association) Camera Link standard, which required a frame graber to connect to a PC. The Genie Nano camera series will perform well in applications where the current camera has already gained traction, namely:
