Latab Back lights are used to inspect objects with transmitted light. Camera images using transmitted light have an extremely high contrast (1-bit) and are ideal for the determination of outer dimensions and contours of objects. Back lights are available in 154 standard sizes, with dimensions of 51 x 84 mm to 444 x 207 mm. Because of the modular construction, customized solutions are easy to realize. Images using transmitted light are usually taken with black-and-white cameras. Therefore these back lights are offered in white and red, although other colors are available on request. A special unit available is for NIR lighting. By means of an NIR camera, different materials (e.g. plastics) can be analyzed and checked.
