The Teledyne Dalsa Genie Nano-CXP M4090 Mono uses the Python 16K monochrome APS-C CMOS sensor over a CoaxPress interface with a resolution of 4096 × 4096 pixels (16.78 MP) at 120 frames per second.

Like all CoaXPress cameras, the Genie Nano-CXP M4090 Mono is based on AIA (Automated Imaging Association) CoaXPress standard, which required a frame graber to connect to a PC. The Genie Nano camera series will perform well in applications where the current camera has already gained traction, namely:
