Spinosaurus series offers highly customizable and user-programmable FPGA based High-speed camera. Using the Xilinx Zynq FPGA and high-speed imaging sensors with 10GigE interfacethe Spinosaurus is a perfect choice for real time image processing. The cameras include high-performance ARM system-on-chip technology combined with Turbocharged industrial Sony sensors. This global shutter industrial camera has a frame rate of 200 to 1590 fps at full frame rate.With a 9μm pixel size, 86dB dynamic range you will have excellent image quality.

Spinosaurus is equipped with a fully customizable and user-programmable open reference design for high-speed FPGA based camera applications development system. Emphasis is on an open hardware-software development model, high-frame rates, real time image processing on FPGA and modern GUI support on the PC side.

You get a suite of versatile and high-performance tools for Zilinx Zynq Ultrascale+ SOC (system-on-chip) FPGA which is used to develop algorithms and process data in real-time.  Images are acquired by the Sony Prefius Gen3 sensor with SLVS-EC v 1.2 interface (8x 2.3 Gbps) achieving brillant image quality at very high speed.  The on-board 4GB LPDDR4 memory with 9.6 GB/s bandwidth enables usage of complex buffered image processing.  Edit your reference design easily using standard Xilinx Vivado tools.  The OptoMotive custom IP cores seamlessly integrate inside the Xilinx Vivado toolchain.  A large segment of the FPGA is free for programming and development of new algorithms, or implementation of additional IP cores.  The 1.2 GHz Dual Core ARM Cortex A53 programmable subsystem runs Linus OS with the custom made EVO control and streaming stack (Including Zero-copy TCP/IP stack).  The SOC also includes dual 600MHz Cortex R5 processors which are free for user data processing.  User applications or custom data post-processing can easily be added to existing design.
